the selection process

Step 1

Please submit your application online to apply for one of our graduate opportunities at: Graduate@evolutionmining.com.au

Step 2

Applications are reviewed by our recruitment team against the following criteria:

  • Academic results
  • Study discipline
  • Interests and affiliations/memberships with any clubs or community organisation
  • Previous work history
  • Motivation and interest in working in remote locations
  • Organisational fit

Step 3

A short list will be created and if your application has met our requirements you will be invited to attend a telephone interview. This interview will be competency based and conducted by a Recruitment representative.

You will be asked a range of behavioural questions where you will be required to demonstrate your experience by giving examples of situations in which you have utilised the skills.

Step 4

If you were successful in the telephone interview, you will be contacted to participate in an assessment centre in your capital city. The assessment centre will cover some group based activities and a face to face panel interview conducted by a HR Representative and a technical expert.

Step 5

If you have reached this stage, your application has been successful and we will call you to make a verbal offer. If you verbally accept, you will be provided with a letter of offer and contract of employment. You may take up to a week to accept your offer and return the signed contract documents.

Our Graduates will commence in January 2013 with a fun Orientation Week as we welcome you to our Evolution Graduate Program.
